League of Legends team wins EBL 2023 Summer Split

After a couple of thrid and second place finishes, our League of Legends team finally breaks the ice with a gold on EBL 2023 Summer Split, beating Partizan and Cyber Wolves in the playoffs to secure the trophy. With the win, Diamant Esports became the first Slovenian organization to achieve first place on EBL.

Our players finished regular season on the second place with the result of 11 wins and 3 loses, but stepped up in the playoffs to beat Partizan 3 to 1 in upper bracket finals, then facing Cyber Wolves in the finals, where we continued to display our dominance with a 3 to 1 victory to seal the win. Big congratulations to our players and coaching staff for their performance!

With their victory in EBL, they secured a slot in the play-in’s of EMEA Masters, where our team was close to qualifing to Knockout Stage, but lost the tiebreakers against Anubis after finishing the groups 3 – 3.

The team will have a few weeks off, then continue their journey as they prepare for Sigma Cup, where we look to improve on last year’s result, when we finished second in Athens, Greece.
